Stranded at an enigmatic outpost, you're tasked with unraveling its ominous history
Venturing into 'Outpost' marked a departure from my usual creative path. It's an expansive open-world VR game, a realm I hadn't explored before, all built within Unreal Engine. Serving as a spiritual successor to 'All Units,' the game delves into themes of solitude and exploration, set against a backdrop of unforgiving terrain and a location shrouded in mystery.
My experimentation with photogrammetry in 3D Zephyr sparked a new approach on 'Outpost.' Instead of laboriously modelling each asset from scratch, I embraced photogrammetry, a decision that not only saved time but also enriched the project's visual authenticity.
